Strawberry Cheesecake Shake

I consider myself to be sort of a connoisseur of ice cream. I take great pride in my extensive knowledge on the delicious frozen cream that just fits in all the small spots after a meal. Because of this blessing and curse of loving ice cream so much I have taken a personal responsibility in finding the perfect strawberry cheesecake shake, always a favorite for me. Well, after many an ice cream outing I have realized that Arctic Circle has the best Strawberry Cheesecake Shake. You know how most places just either have the flavor of cheesecake mixed in the shake or they have a few pieces of cheesecake on top? Yeah, well, Arctic Circle doesn’t go cheap on their cheesecake bites. They are mixed throughout the entire shake. Every bite of shake has a perfectly proportional bite size piece of smooth cheesecake. It’s a wonderful practice that I wish more ice cream joints would adopt into practice so that way I can stop being so disappointed when I try other places’ strawberry cheesecake shakes. Well even if no one else puts the bites throughout the shakes at least I know of one place that I can confidently say, “I will take a small strawberry cheesecake shake!” (or at least till they decide to change things up on me like they did their fries … but that’s for another post)



I should also say that Coldstone has never let me down in delivering divine ice cream. One disclaimer…I have never tried the cheesecake there. I have tried several and my two favorites there are:
1. Sweet cream ice cream with brownies and caramel
2. Sweet cream ice cream with brownies and strawberries.

I would love to hear of any recommendations of good ice cream places as I am always looking for another place to try or in some cases retry. I think I will finish by ending like Alton Brown does on his television show…. Good Eating!
