Today is my Dad’s birthday. I won’t mention any numbers, but if you are really curious ask my niece, Rebecca, she’ll tell ya and Grandpa won’t be upset. Anyways I just wanted to publicly (or cyber-ly) say how much I love my Dad. He’s amazing. I can remember when I was younger and playing soccer, he would take me out to some field and make me practice, sometimes for several hours. At the time I know I would get annoyed and upset with my Dad making me stay out there for hours and taking corner kick after corner kick. Looking back though, this is one of my favorite stories. I know that I was a much better player because he would willingly give up an evening to spend with me doing something that was really important to me. I can’t think of many of my games or other events, if any, that my Dad missed. He was always there, supporting and cheering me on.
Happy Birthday Dad! I love you!

Ok I hate being so far away from everyone! We all thought Arizona was far...but I think the Winfield's topped it with moving to Virginia. It's good to see pics of you guys!
Happy (late) birthday!! You're dad is the best and the apple didn't fall far from the tree... even the monk tendencies!!
I definitely agree with you Mare that we got blessed to have such a great dad! I love thinking about so many of the funny memories we have as a family and I realize that Dad was as the heart of so many of those funny moments. Too many to name in just a post!
