Hey Ya'll

So spontaneously Kelsey, Logan, and I decided to attend the Strawberry Days Rodeo on Saturday. It was loads of fun - except the dirty child that kept touching me and in the end drove us to leaving early. But that's for another post. I have to say that Mutton Busting has got to be the darndest cutest thing I ever did see. Question for those with more knowledge on this subject...do the cows get hurt when they wrestle them? It looks awfully uncomfortable for them. Anyways ... it was so much fun to just sit and watch all the people that were there. I am considering becoming a down right country gal cause some of those cowboys in their wranglers, boots, and cowboy hat weren't all that bad to gaze at. :)

No, the cows don't get hurt, although, it really can't be all that comfortable either. Imagine someone twisting your neck, you either fight and make it hurt worse or you give in and go to the ground. I would choose the latter.

Hooray for Rodeos! I went to one when I was little and I'm sure it was even more fun for you. Out here the cool event is NASCAR. We have yet to go to a race though.

How about those cowboys in WHITE hats?? Glad you had fun and I'm determined to go next year and see this mutton busting for myself!

I love the hair Mare! I can't remember if it looked like that when I was up there at the beginning of June, but I know you said you just got it done and I think it looks Fabulous! (Imagine Grant saying in his a little too femmy voice, you know which voice I mean) I have been debating on whether or not I should grow it out and I think you might have inspired me to try and grow it out again! Grant thanks you!
