1. Disinfect doorknobs, phones, chairs, and garbage cans when your roommates are deathly ill but still have to touch things and honestly I think anytime it’s a good idea to disinfect them.
2. Clean a vanity that is disgustingly covered of toothpaste, hair, and whatever nastiness happens to fall on it with an apartment of six girls and one bathroom. It really is one of the most disgusting and trying things that I have faced since moving into an apartment.
3. Clean a blue toilet including the handle (which I love because then I get to throw the wipes away and not have to have a sponge or anything else laying around).
4. Clean the stove, table, counters, and sink.
5. Clean the entire bathroom floor, unfortunately this requires being on your hands and knees but I have a small bathroom and thought it worked better than our mop.
6. Make an entire apartment smell like Clorox when it smells bizarre – which despite all my efforts my apartment often smells funny.
7. Wipe down walls that get splashed with food.
8. Clean your cell phone – which I hear is one of the dirtiest things we have, sick huh?
9. Enjoy the satisfaction of having a clean AND disinfected apartment/home (oh and the smell is wonderful as well)
10. Endure the ridicule of friends saying you are becoming more Monk-like. I think it’s a compliment in this area.
Anyone who knows me really well knows that this really isn't a big stretch for me. It isn’t uncommon to come into my apartment and find me with our tube of Clorox Disinfecting wipes tucked under my arm going through the entire place and wiping everything I can. I’ve always known about these wipes but recently I have become obsessed with them. I think they are fabulous! Adrian Monk once said that even he would like to shake hands with the man that invented Tupperware because it would be well preserved. I too would like to thank Clorox for creating the disposable disinfecting wipe. Oh okay, so I may be taking this a little far BUT I do find a great deal of happiness and satisfaction by wiping a dirty surface clean while disinfecting it at the same time. Say what you will but I think everyone really appreciates my obsession.
